I got it for my son's birthday but was the wrong kind so I will be buying him another bottle on the 20th of april which is his birthday and it will be your antique 107 great service! We are on a fixed income thats why I have to wait till wed the 20th (payday) Im only 79 x Navy. He's the BURBON drinker!

A good wheated bourbon

I've been waiting to try one of the Weller bourbons. I settled on the Special Reserve to begin with, due to its approachable price and good reviews. I've been drinking other wheated bourbons: various Maker's Mark variations, Angel's Envy, Eagle Rare. I find the Weller's Special Reserve tasty, but not special. Less body than any of the Maker's Mark variations. As good as Angel's Envy, with a fuller body and a little more bite in the finish. Eagle Rare 10 year old is so far my favorite. I can recommend Weller's Special Reserve if you get a good price on it. I plan to try another version of Weller's soon, and see if the increase in price leads to a more full body bourbon. I'd give it a 3.5 on a 1 to 5 scale.

Lack of Communication

I ordered while traveling and wife purchased at another outlet. I sent many emails moments after ordering requesting cancellation but never received a response, They continued with the shipment and did received the goods. I wish for better communication.
