The Collaborative Series from Bardstown Bourbon Co. is a homage to shared passions. This initiative sees partnerships with esteemed producers in wine, beer, and spirits, creating extraordinary variations. Premium bourbon, hand-selected and allowed to rest in the barrels of these partners within Bardstown's own rickhouses, matures into matchless, singular releases.
The most recent addition to this innovative series is a partnership with Goose Island Brewing Company. Here, 12-year-old Kentucky bourbon gets a finish in barrels that once contained Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout for a period of 13 months. The result is a bourbon infused with rich flavors of cocoa and baked cherry, all rounded off with a hint of smooth vanilla cream.
