Widow Jane Paradigm Rye Whiskey represents the trifecta arts of distilling, blending, and finishing. It is produced with 5 barrels per batch, never more, from straight ryes sourced from Kentucky, Indiana, and New York—the New York rye being distilled at Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NYC.
The whiskey is aged in new charred American oak barrels. This rye is a blend of hand-selected ryes finished with unique mineral water from the legendary Rosedale mines. The result is a signature rye whiskey that is round, creamy, spicy, and impossibly complex. Its bold flavor is balanced with warm spice and an elegant sweetness, making it deserving of attention when served neat, yet it also works generously in a Rye Old Fashioned. Widow Jane Paradigm is non-chill filtered to maintain the finest flavor and aroma, and it is proofed with hard yet sweet, pure limestone water from the Rosendale mines in Upstate New York
