The Plantation XO 20th Anniversary is a remarkable rum, created to honor Alexandre Gabriel’s 20-year tenure as a Master Blender. This masterpiece, originating from Barbados, combines a blend of exquisite extra-old rums. Initially aged in bourbon casks in its homeland, it later sails to southwestern France for further maturation in small Ferrand French oak casks. This traditional "double ageing" process gifts the rum with extraordinary smoothness and complexity.
With an alcohol volume of 40%, the rum is distilled from molasses in a Twin Column and Pot Still at Gregg’s Farm. It ages tropically for 8-15 years and continentally for 2-10 years, in varying cask types. The dosage is 20 g/L and cane sugar caramel E150a is between 0% and 0.1%.
