This cask strength offering is a celebration of the distillery's commitment to exceptional bourbon. The A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon is the culmination of a meticulous year-long process of blending the finest barrels, hand-selected by Distiller David Bock. Aged a minimum of nine years and bottled at a robust 135.1 proof, this year's release captivates with its complexity and sweetness.
Distiller Bock's dedication to capturing the essence of the 9-year-old barrels results in a whiskey that exemplifies the distillery's ethos: crafting the finest cask strength whiskey possible. Unfiltered and uncut, this bourbon exudes aromas of candy apples and maple. On the palate, it reveals rich flavors of sweet raisins, vanilla, and toasted toffee, evolving from soft notes to a strong, crisp finish, a hallmark of higher proof bourbons.
