For the 2014 release, the chosen barrels rested in the middle floors of Warehouses G and I, where temperatures remain more consistent throughout the year compared to the top or bottom floors of the warehouse. This moderate climate is crucial for a slow and steady maturation process, which allows the whiskey to develop a balanced profile, integrating the essence of the wood with the inherent flavors of the distilled spirit.
Aroma: Creamy soft vanilla bean, cinnamon spice and maple syrup, with a touch of candied orange peel.
