The Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a meticulously crafted wine that showcases the rich terroir of the Alexander Valley. This vintage is primarily composed of 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, enhanced by 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, and a touch of 0.4% Petit Verdot, creating a harmonious blend that epitomizes the complexity and finesse of a classic Cabernet Sauvignon.
Following its assembly in early 2020, the wine was aged for 24 months in American oak barrels from Silver Oak's own cooperage, The Oak. This aging process, following Silver Oak's distinctive approach of blending before barrel maturation, allows each component to marry and mature without the immediate influence of oak, preserving the unique characteristics of each vineyard block.
