Goose Island proudly introduces its first-ever “Cask Finish” stout with the Bourbon County Angel's Envy 2 Year Cask Finish Stout 2023. This innovative addition to the Bourbon County family is inspired by the creative spirit of Angel’s Envy.

The stout undergoes a unique two-stage aging process, beginning in freshly emptied barrels that once nurtured Angel’s Envy Kentucky straight bourbon. After a year, the beer transitions to a second set of Ruby Port wine barrels for another year of patient maturation.

This replication of Angel Envy's finishing process allows the stout to refine and enhance its inherent flavors of cherry, spice, and cocoa, resulting in a stout of unparalleled complexity and depth.
