The Double Double Oaked Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, with a proof of 90.4 and 45.2% alcohol volume, is a unique offering selected by Master Distiller Eljal MeCell in 2023. This bourbon has a distinct character, noted to be spicier than its Double Oaked counterpart. The cooperage process contributes to its unique flavor profile. The whiskey starts its maturation in standard new oak barrels and is subsequently finished in heavily toasted new oak barrels. This double oak treatment imparts an additional layer of complexity and a rich, toasted flavor to the bourbon.
