Introducing Broken Barrel Americana, a unique exploration of blended American Whiskeys, distinguished by its innovative Oak Bill™. This term, exclusive to Broken Barrel, signifies the unique blend of barrel staves from various types of barrels used in each expression. Our Oak Bill™ consists of 40% Charred American Oak, 40% Toasted American Oak, and 20% American Apple Brandy Cask.
The outcome of this unique blend is a whiskey that stands out with its own distinct character. It presents a gentle honeycomb sweetness, complemented by notes of toasted cashew and butterscotch. As these initial flavors recede, they give way to more complex undertones of oak and marshmallow.
This is quintessentially American Whiskey. It doesn't quite fit the mold of bourbon, and it's certainly not a rye. Instead, it carves out its own niche as a standout whiskey, daring to step outside the usual Broken Barrel lineup.
