JMCBB well worth it!

One of the ‘unicorns’ I’d been looking for I finally was able to procure thanks to The Barrel Tap. The bottle I received was from Batch 157. I was unable to gather any information on said batch & bottle. Either way, the first pours have lived up to their hype and unicorn status.

Complex and Robust

This whiskey is dense, complex, and robust pour. You get hints from the sherry finish, but the armeniac is the star and plays well with the underlying bourbon. I don’t have time to write tasting notes, but it is a special bottle that likes air, is delicious neat, and really releases a ton of oils with a few drops of water. It’s worth the hunt.
