Sazerac Vodka & Whiskey Bundle

Vodka & Whiskey Bundle | 4 × 750mL Bottles | 3L Total | USA

Process & Profile

The Sazerac Vodka & Whiskey Bundle combines two vodkas, a Kentucky straight bourbon, and a straight rye whiskey in one four-bottle selection. Wheatley Vodka uses a wheat-led grain recipe, ten distillations, and triple filtration, delivering a delicate profile with subtle vanilla notes. Platinum 7X takes a different approach with American corn and seven distillations, offering a clean, crisp option for chilled pours and mixed drinks.

The whiskey pairing provides another useful comparison. Buffalo Trace Bourbon matures in new charred oak barrels and brings brown sugar, toffee, oak, and dark fruit to the palate. Sazerac Rye adds clove, pepper, citrus, and licorice, along with its connection to New Orleans cocktail history. With both whiskeys bottled at 90 proof, the bundle lets you explore their flavor differences at matching strength while keeping two versatile vodkas available for the home bar.

This bundle includes:

  • (1) Wheatley Vodka — 750mL: 41% ABV | 82 Proof.

  • (1) Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey — 750mL: 45% ABV | 90 Proof.

  • (1) Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey — 750mL: 45% ABV | 90 Proof.

  • (1) Platinum 7X Vodka — 750mL: 40% ABV | 80 Proof.

Tasting Notes

  • Wheatley Vodka: Delicate and balanced, with subtle vanilla character and a clean, crisp finish.

  • Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey: Mint, vanilla, and molasses aromas lead into brown sugar and spice, followed by toffee, oak, dark fruit, and anise. The finish is smooth and extended.

  • Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey: Clove, pepper, vanilla, and anise on the nose, followed by citrus and sweet spice on the palate. Licorice accents the smooth finish.

  • Platinum 7X Vodka: A clean, crisp palate with a smooth finish.

What Makes It Special

  • Wheatley’s wheat-led recipe: Distilled ten times and triple-filtered at Buffalo Trace Distillery.

  • Corn-based Platinum 7X: Made with American corn and distilled seven times.

  • Barrel-matured Buffalo Trace Bourbon: New charred oak contributes to its developed bourbon profile.

  • Sazerac Rye’s cocktail connection: A natural choice for exploring its namesake New Orleans classic.

  • Matching 90-proof whiskeys: Compare bourbon and rye at the same bottling strength.

  • Four full-size bottles: Includes one 750mL bottle of each spirit, totaling three liters.

How to Enjoy

Compare small pours of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Sazerac Rye neat or over equal-sized ice cubes. For the vodkas, use matching glasses and the same serving temperature to explore differences in texture and flavor.

Build an Old Fashioned with Buffalo Trace Bourbon or a Sazerac cocktail with the rye, sugar, Peychaud’s Bitters, an Herbsaint rinse, and lemon peel. Try either vodka in a Martini, Moscow Mule, or vodka soda. Keeping the recipe consistent when switching vodkas makes the comparison more useful.
