The Crown Royal Noble Collection is a series of limited edition whiskies produced by Crown Royal, a Canadian whiskey brand. The Barley Edition is one of the expressions in this collection, and it is known for its use of a unique variety of barley known as the "Monsanto" strain.
According to Crown Royal, the Barley Edition is crafted using a "unique milling process" that is meant to highlight the flavors of the barley. The resulting whisky is said to have notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak, with a creamy mouthfeel.
The Barley Edition is bottled at 45% ABV and is available in select markets. As with all the expressions in the Noble Collection, it is a limited edition release, so availability may vary over time.
