Garrison Brothers Laguna Madre Limousin Oak-Immersed Bourbon Whiskey (2025 Release)

Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey | 8 Years Aged | 101 Proof (50.5% ABV) | 750 mL | Limited Release (3,000 bottles)

Process & Profile

Garrison Brothers Laguna Madre 2025 is the fourth edition of the distillery’s flagship “Limousin Oak-Immersed” bourbon, crafted in the Texas Hill Country and recognized as the oldest and most exclusive bourbon they release. The mash bill is comprised of Texas-sourced white corn, soft red winter wheat, and malted barley. The aging regime unfolds in two phases: first 4 years in new American white-oak barrels, then 4 additional years in custom-coopered French Limousin oak casks — the latter prized for their lignin content and deep vanilla-spice impact. Bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV) and released in only 3,000 bottles, this bourbon is crafted for collectors and serious enthusiasts.

Tasting Notes

  • Color: Rich cherry mahogany.

  • Nose: Vanilla bean, hazelnut, saltwater taffy, and milk chocolate with warm Texas oak and subtle coastal breeze influence.

  • Palate: Creamy mouthfeel with white-chocolate, almond butter, root-beer notes, toasted oak and a touch of leather and dark fruit.

  • Finish: Long and smooth with lingering toasted vanilla, cinnamon-spice, charred oak and a dusty almond-cocoa flourish.

What Makes It Special

  • Aged a full 8 years — 4 in American new oak, plus 4 in French Limousin oak — making it Garrison’s longest-matured edition.

  • Finished in imported Limousin oak from central France, harvested from trees 120 + years old, delivering an extraordinary depth and texture.

  • Bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV), striking a balance between boldness and elegance.

  • Limited to 3,000 total bottles for the 2025 release — extremely scarce and highly anticipated by collectors.

  • Named after the Gulf Coast’s “Laguna Madre” watershed; each bottle supports the FlatsWorthy conservation initiative dedicated to Texas’ coastal environment.

  • A showcase of Texas terroir, climate, barrel innovation, and barrel selection expertise.

How to Enjoy

Serve Laguna Madre 2025 neat in a tulip or Glencairn glass at room temperature to capture its rich aromatics and deep profile. A small splash of water can help unlock secondary fruit, nut and spice layers. Pair with dark chocolate truffles, honey-roasted almonds, or slow-smoked brisket for a true terroir-to-table bourbon experience. For true collectors, this bottle presents a strong age-worthy profile for cellar maturation.
