Gran Centenario Tequila Plata
Plata / Blanco | 40% ABV | 80 Proof | 750mL | Jalisco, Mexico | 100% Blue Weber Agave | Additive-Free
Process & Profile
Gran Centenario Tequila Plata brings together fresh agave, bright fruit, and a brief rest in American oak. Made with just agave, water, and yeast, it begins with mature Blue Weber agave cooked in masonry brick ovens for approximately 36–40 hours. The cooked agave passes through roller mills before fermentation in stainless steel tanks and double distillation in copper pot stills.
After distillation, Plata rests for approximately four to six weeks in lightly charred American oak pipónes, or large wooden vats. This short resting period softens its profile while keeping herbal agave and lively fruit notes at the forefront. Pear, lime, and a touch of black pepper give it a versatile character for sipping and mixing.
