Del Maguey San Luis Del Rio Single Village Mezcal
Single Village Mezcal | Mexico (San Luis del Rio, Oaxaca) | 100% Espadín Agave | 47% ABV (94 Proof) | Copper Still Distillation
Process & Profile
Del Maguey San Luis Del Rio is crafted in the hot, narrow valley of San Luis del Rio, where Espadín agaves grow on steep slopes nourished by the Red Ant River. After 7–8 years of maturation, the agaves are roasted in earthen pit ovens for up to eight days, naturally fermented, and double distilled in copper stills. This artisanal approach captures the terroir of the region and highlights bold smoke, spice, and fruit complexity.
