This blend is a layered composition of rye whiskeys of different ages and origins, resulting in a fruit-forward rye with substantial depth. It starts with 10-year-old Indiana Rye barrels, offering notes of brown sugar and a touch of smoke. To this base, 5 and 6-year-old barrels are introduced, contributing fruit and spice character. Finally, 14-year-old Canadian barrels are added, lending dry herbal notes.
The blend components include Indiana Rye of 5, 6, and 10 years old, 5-year-old Tennessee Rye, 6-year-old Kentucky Rye, and 14-year-old Canadian Rye.
The derived mash bill comprises 89% rye, 7% corn, and 4% malted barley, reflecting the complex interplay of flavors in this blend.
