Nc'nean Huntress Malted Teacake Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the fifth release in the distillery's experimental Huntress series. This limited edition explores the influence of fermentation, using an uncommon yeast strain normally associated with Belgian-style ales to create a distinctly creamy and malt-forward character.

Made from 100% organic Scottish barley, Malted Teacake uses a combination of Anchor, Fermentis, and Dubbel Trouble yeasts. The Dubbel Trouble strain plays a particularly important role, developing the buttery, bakery-inspired flavors that define the release.

The whisky is matured in Nc'nean's house-style combination of 50% STR red wine casks, 48% ex-Bourbon casks, and 2% Oloroso Sherry casks. Together, these barrels add fruit, vanilla, caramel, and gentle spice around the whisky's creamy malt foundation.
