Process & Profile
Old Dominick Bonded Straight Tennessee Whiskey is a 6-year-old Bottled-In-Bond whiskey made in Memphis and aged in Tennessee, representing the distillery’s take on one of America’s most historic whiskey standards. Made from Old Dominick’s signature Tennessee whiskey mash bill of 75% corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, the spirit is filtered through sugar maple charcoal before entering new charred oak barrels, following the traditional Lincoln County Process associated with Tennessee whiskey.
The first barrels for this bonded expression were laid down in Fall 2017 at Old Dominick’s South Front Street distillery in downtown Memphis. Bottled at the required 50% ABV (100 proof), the whiskey balances caramel and crème brûlée sweetness with vanilla, anise, tobacco, rye spice, and mature oak.
