Solid strong anejo - smooth, good agave notes

I am starting to understand the anejo. I love tequila ocho in general, but this is great. It’s a bit more minerally than other anejos but still a great sipping drink.

A great, great Ocho Anejo release

Although this is a one off, as are all the Ocho Barrel Select releases, this for me is the best Anejo release in the history of the brand which goes back to 2007. This has, at 48% ABV, all the punch of the Puntas Blanco releases with even more of the Widow Jane Reposado flavors joined with the stellar Ocho Blanco flavors. It is worth the effort to track this down.
