The rum is a blend of three distinct 16-year-old rums, distilled using both a copper double-retort pot still and a continuous twin column Coffey still. Two of the components undergo a double maturation process: one aged initially in ex-bourbon casks for 3 years before spending 13 years in ex-oloroso sherry barrels, and another aged 9 years in ex-bourbon followed by 7 years in ex-oloroso sherry. The third rum matures entirely in ex-bourbon casks for 16 years. All aging, blending, and bottling occur on-site in Barbados, with no added sugar, color, or filtration, preserving its natural character. Bottled at 58% ABV (116 proof), this release showcases a deep, dark hue and a robust, authentic profile.
