Aged initially for five years in ex-bourbon casks within the tropical climate of the distillery in Barbados, this rum benefits from the intense heat and humidity that accelerate the aging process, imparting a rich and concentrated flavor profile. Following this initial aging, the rum then crosses the Atlantic for an additional year of maturation, an approach that adds a unique dimension to its character.
