Glendalough 7 Year Mizunara Cask Single Malt Irish Whiskey
Single Malt Irish Whiskey | 46% ABV (92 Proof) | 750 mL
Process & Profile
This expression begins as a seven‑year‑aged malt distilled from 100% Irish barley at Glendalough Distillery in Wicklow. After maturation in ex‑bourbon barrels, it is finished for 8–12 months in rare Japanese Mizunara oak from Hokkaido. Mizunara's porous grain imparts exotic wood flavors—sandalwood, cinnamon, dark chocolate—while preserving the whiskey's bright, floral Irish character.
