Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Tres Amigos Rum & Tequila Finish Rye Whiskey is a harmonious blend of three unique spirits, matured in a trio of cask types. This rye whiskey, initially composed of two five-year-old rye whiskey mash bills, gets its unique flavor from an ex-rum cask solera, where it spent an additional year. The blender's adventurous spirit led to further maturation in select Añejo Tequila casks. Aged in the Pacific Northwest throughout winter, this whiskey displays a finely balanced flavor profile - baked spiced pears, agave syrup, a kick of white pepper, fruity rum notes, and vanilla.
