Process & Profile
Ben Holladay Bottled-in-Bond 6 Year Bourbon is a genuine Missouri-made whiskey, produced entirely at the historic Holladay Distillery—established in 1856 and still operating on its original site. Crafted using a traditional two-grain cooker system and Ben Holladay’s original 1856 mash bill, the spirit is distilled, aged, and bottled in accordance with strict Bottled-in-Bond standards. It matures for six years in level 3 charred Missouri white oak barrels and is non-chill filtered to preserve character.
Each batch is blended from barrels aged on different floors of the distillery’s two seven-story rickhouses, with flavor variation driven by the natural temperature gradients inside. The blending ratios differ from batch to batch, with each label featuring a blending chart that showcases the bourbon’s floor and barrel composition.
