Process & Profile
Dulce Amargura Tequila Extra Anejo Ceramic is produced from 100% Blue Weber agave at Tequila Tres Mujeres in El Arenal, within Jalisco’s Los Valles tequila region. The tequila matures for four to five years in American and French oak barrels, exceeding the three-year minimum required for the Extra Añejo classification.
Extended oak maturation develops a rich and complex profile of cooked agave, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, caramel, honey, fruit, flowers, and warming spice. The tequila is presented in an individually hand-painted ceramic decanter, pairing a mature sipping tequila with a collectible piece of colorful Mexican-inspired artwork.

How to Enjoy
Dulce Amargura Tequila Extra Anejo Ceramic is best enjoyed neat at room temperature in a tequila tasting glass or small snifter. Allow the tequila to rest for several minutes after pouring so its cooked agave, chocolate, coffee, caramel, honey, fruit, floral notes, and barrel spices can develop fully.
A few drops of water can reveal additional sweetness and soften the mature oak profile. It may also be served over one large ice cube for slow dilution, although its extended four-to-five-year maturation makes it particularly well suited to contemplative sipping. The hand-painted ceramic decanter also makes it an impressive choice for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, retirement gifts, and premium tequila collections.
