Glenfiddich 15 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky, also known as Glenfiddich Solera Fifteen, is a mature Speyside single malt distinguished by the distillery's pioneering Solera Vat maturation process.

The whisky is matured for at least 15 years using a combination of Spanish Sherry casks, American Bourbon casks, and new American oak. These different cask types contribute layers of ripe fruit, vanilla, oak, sweetness, and warm spice before the whiskies are brought together.

The matured whisky is then married in Glenfiddich's unique Solera Vat, a large oak tun inspired by the solera systems used in Spanish and Portuguese wine production. First filled in 1998, the vat has never been completely emptied and is kept at least half full, allowing successive batches to marry with whisky already resting inside.
