The best JD rye

I’ve been doing some research and tastings and in my humble opinion this is the best rye of JD period…get if possible 130 proof or above…pack of flavors…

Customer Service Issues

It's tasty and at a great price, but very strong. The whiskey was not as I remembered it, so wondering if the mash bill has been changed. My issues was with customer service. I ordered 2 for Christmas gifts, but was sent the wrong ones. Customer support did well to send me a return label to return the mistakes. They also were willing to send me the correct ones, but needed the incorrect ones returned FIRST. This meant I was not going to get these in time for Christmas so ended up ordering some on my own while I shipped the wrong ones back. I made sure to let customer support know and requested they NOT reship me any new ones and just refund me. Of course, they didn't listen and still sent me the two bottles I previously ordered. Now they will not respond to my request to return these bottles I do not need anymore. They made the mistake, around the holidays of all times, and now are making it my issue to deal with. I was not aware of the return policy when all of this was happening. Now I have to make a report with my CC company. The site is great for whiskey enthusiasts like me, but support is lacking as they dod not respond in a timely manner or help you resolve the issue.

Great price, poor proof description.

The price was good, BUT the description said it was 135 proof. With these bottles, anything over 130 proof is "special". I quickly ordered a whole case. Great, fast shipping. The bottles that arrived were 127 proof. Well below the description of 135 proof. At this proof I might have ordered 2-3, not a whole case. On a similar website, in the description section there is a clear disclaimer stating that the bottles you receive may not be the same proof as the one in the image. I suggest you all adopt a similar disclaimer in the description, so people do not experience the same disappointment I did. Thank you.
