Orphan Barrel Avengers Doomsday Latverian Cask 20 Year Light Whiskey
American Light Whiskey | 46% ABV | 92 Proof | 750 mL | Distilled in Indiana | Aged at Least 20 Years | Limited Release
Process & Profile
Latverian Cask is Orphan Barrel’s first American light whiskey, released in collaboration with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Distilled in Indiana from a predominantly corn mash bill, it matured primarily in Kentucky, with some barrels aged in Indiana.
The whiskey spent at least 20 years in used oak, primarily former bourbon and rye barrels. That long maturation brings honey, butterscotch, and oak while retaining a mellow texture. Marvel artist Rod Reis created the label artwork, drawing on Doctor Doom and the fictional nation of Latveria.
