Tequila Carrera Extra Añejo is an additive-free expression of time-honored tequila craftsmanship from the vibrant region of Arandas, Jalisco.
This extra añejo class tequila, with a balanced 40% ABV (80 proof), is a testament to the art of aging. Each batch is meticulously aged for 56 months in American white oak barrels, allowing the tequila to develop a deep, complex flavor profile. The tequila-making process begins with the traditional roller mill method for crushing, followed by double distillation in copper coil stills, ensuring purity and clarity.
The agaves are carefully cooked in stone and brick ovens, preserving the natural flavors. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the use of deep well water contribute to its exceptional smoothness.
